ABOUT JIMMIES PLACE

Jimmies Place has been a family-friendly Seymour community staple for over 60 years, now run by the 4th generation owner. Located at 133 Main Street in Seymour, the bar and restaurant serves award-winning food, ours premium cocktails, caters and is available for events via our food truck, offers live music and other events, hosts charitable fundraisers in collaboration with the Town of Seymour, employs valley-local staff, and is still the friendly, go-to spot in the Greater Seymour area.

Jimmie's Place aims to retain our highly-social nature. Come, bring your friends, bring you family, bring your laughs. Sorry, but our barters have better jokes than you do.

The 4th Gen Just Dropped

Kickin' it since '57. Now with a renovated interior (but of course were keeping the memorabilia), we're extending our schedule to 7 days a week.

Oh, and with 60+ flavors, our wings are rated some of the best in Connecticut.

1st Generation

James J. Principi

James Principi Sr. started what would eventually become a 4th generation pillar of the local Seymour and Greater Valley community.

2nd Generation

James Principi Jr.

Jimmie started the long-living Friday night family dinner tradition. He accomplished a great many successes as part of many organizations.
2014
3rd Generation

Tommy Caruso

The Caruso family takeover breathed even more life into Jimmie's Place. Tommy was a true joy and a beautiful treasure to all who knew him.

4th Generation

Chris Caruso

At 23 years old, Chris took on the ownership responsibility after the loss of his father Tom. Chris brings Jimmie's into the new world.

Friday night dinner is really very good. The chef is great and he took the time out to talk with us. He also cooked my daughters salmon the way she wanted it which was totally different than the way it was being offered. Also if you can stop in for lunch, their porketta sandwich is the-best. Nice people and a nice little place in quaint downtown Seymour!
